Picasa 3

Just discovered Picasa 3 (beta). I LOVE it! Great new features that I will be able to use and enjoy. Making a collage is so easy (even though I need some practice). I did this in just a few minutes to try it out. I know that I can do better when I'm not in a hurry, but it's late and I just wanted to see how it worked.

Photography Classes

For the past 4 Saturday's I've been traveling around Baltimore City taking pictures of various points in the city for my Architectural Photography class. I'm seeing a lot of places that I have never seen in all my years of living here. I've posted my albums to Picassa so all can see. Two more weeks to go.

Baltimore Architecture

The local Community Colleges are a great way to learn new things, or update your skills in something that you have a passion for. I started a photography class on Saturday to help with my picture taking skills. Getting to know my Canon Rebel Xti EOS400D Digital Camera by taking pictures of architecture around the city of Baltimore seems like a great way to do it. So for the next five Saturdays my class will meet at various locations around the Baltimore area and take pictures, share and discuss them. I'll even see some sights that I haven't ever seen in all the years that I've grown up here. The weather was great for the first class. I hope that each week brings weather that is just as great.

Learning to take better pictures

Lately I've been browsing the internet looking for some photography sights to help me (a beginner)learn more about how to take better pictures, as well as how to use my Cannon DSLR Xti. I took a few classes at the local Community College on getting to know my camera and really enjoyed them.

While browsing, I found some great information and some great sites to educate me and help unleash my photography potential. I'm adding this site to my daily reads. This is another great site with tips for the beginner.
