Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas to all from my wonderful family. It is so difficult sometimes to get everyone together for a group shot, but this year we made a point of it.

Christmas 2009

It's so wonderful to have family near for the Holidays. I am so thankful that everyone is healthy, happy and close by. I'm thankful that my parents, who have been together for 53 years are still hear. I love being able to see my grandson growing up. It's so hard to believe that this was his second Christmas.

The best gift I received this year is that my youngest daughter finally finished her Bachelors Degree and that she is very happy in her life.

Babysitting

I volunteered to babysit Logan this week now that my daughter has returned to school to set up her 3rd grade classroom before school gets back in session next week. I just happened to be off this week from work and thought that this would give me some prime time with him.

It's been so hot outside that we can't go for any walks, so we are spending our time just playing with toys. And boy are there a lot of them, especially when he just pulls them all out. He really loves his books and gets them out and just sits and looks through them.

It's hard to believe that my Grandson will be 1 year old this coming Sunday. Time surely flies. He's walking now and definitely has a mind of his own.

Moving out and Homecoming

I'm a little sad that my youngest daughter, Laura, has decided to spread her wings and move out. It wouldn't be so sad, except that she has moved around 250 miles away into another state to be with her boyfriend. But I know she's happy. Her boyfriend, Mike, came home today. He's been away for 7 months in the Persian Gulf on an aircraft carrier.
